Job Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor, in consult and under supervision of the Branch Manager, will supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in material handling, clean-up, packaging and other activities pertaining to the warehouse. Supervise and coordinate activities such as order-filling, transporting doors & products, and maintaining stock records in the warehouse.

Supervise and coordinate activities such as order-filling, transporting doors & products, and maintaining stock records in the warehouse.
Job Responsibilities

- Supervise warehousing and manufacturing of parts, material, door and frame products
- Plan, organize and coordinate the flow and storage of material throughout warehouse, and coordinate replacement/ ordering of such
- Assist contract hardware to ship partial/complete shipments of their projects via PQS (project quantity summary)
- Using the PQS itemize products, detect discrepancies
- Build picking order slip, package and mark all required products to be shipped
- May be required to arrange shipments
- Give direction and instructions to staff in a professional, respectful manner
- Become proficient in all pertinent areas of the Comsense order entry system.
- Detect errors, intercept errors, and correct mistakes in Comsense before products get shipped to customers
- Establish work schedules and co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
- Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports to branch manager
- Ensure all customers (internal, external, on-site and off-site) are promptly, professionally and courteously attended to
- Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies or send to applicable person for training
- Ensure smooth operation of computer systems, equipment and machinery
- Follows all safety policies including wearing appropriate safety attire at all times
- May perform the same duties as workers supervised
- Ability to read blueprints, work orders and technical specifications

- Minimum 3 years’ experience
- Warehouse experience required
- Supervisory experience an asset
- Proficient computer skill in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc) and Comsense/Avaware
