Maintenance Worker/Millwright Helper

Responsibilites:

• Performs Required And Preventative Maintenance
• Safely maintains and repairs equipment used during the production of underground storage tanks and accessories
• Practices preventative maintenance by monitoring all equipment used during production
• Accurately utilizes purchase log, process sheets, and maintenance records
• Assists with rebuilding and making adjustments on portable tools, heaters, lift trucks, and other equipment and machines as required
• Assist with the maintenance of the electrical, hydraulic, plumbing, water connections and fittings, compressed air systems, air filters, and all heating and cooling equipment throughout the manufacturing plant
• Assist with the maintenance or arrange maintenance of fire sprinkler systems, static electricity
• Perform mold re-surfacing and repairs
• Trouble Shoot Minor Mechanical Issues
• Assist With Mechanical Repairs - Operates Power Tools - Prioritizes Between Multiple Required Tasks
  
  

Skills:

• Forklift experience / certification / Fall Protection / Aerial Lift Experience or certification
• General skills in operating tools and equipment and an understanding of the conditions that may impact their performance
• General understanding of building and
• Demonstrates problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good understanding of the English language including verbal, written, and reading skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with others and work as part of a team
• Ability to learn new tools and equipment as required for the position
• Ability to work at heights and within confined spaces when required
• Ability to work variable hours including shift work
• Physical capabilities include bending, crouching, kneeling, and the ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Availability to work weekends as needed
• Ability to source parts/materials and prepare
  
  

Experience:

• 3 years of experience in an industrial environment
  
  

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
