We are currently seeking a passionate and dynamic ArtStart Facilitator to join our team at the Early Learning Program. The ArtStart Facilitator will play a key role in planning and delivering our ArtStart programming, which uses art as a medium for social-emotional development and skill-building for preschool-aged children.

We are currently seeking a passionate and dynamic ArtStart Facilitator to join our team at the Early Learning Program. The ArtStart Facilitator will play a key role in planning and delivering our ArtStart programming, which uses art as a medium for social-emotional development and skill-building for preschool-aged children.
Key Accountabilities
Program Delivery
- Coordinate and facilitate ArtStart and other Out of School Time (OST) programs.
- Develop and implement educational resources and creative curriculum.
- Collaborate with school staff for referrals, program scheduling, and registration.
- Foster relationships with children, families, school staff, and administrators.
- Provide one-on-one support to preschoolers using art and social-emotional expression.
- Recruit, mentor, and supervise program volunteers and student placements.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and effective learning environment.
- Ensure all staff and volunteers follow best practices and safety protocols.
- Support budget development and financial tracking for programming.
- Collect, analyze, and report on program data and outcomes.
- Maintain program materials, contact lists, and documentation.
- Prepare monthly financial reconciliations and other administrative reports.
- Post-secondary education in Child Development, Education, Social Work, Community Development or a related field.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance.
- 2+ years’ experience in school or community-based children programs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Volunteer supervision and training experience is a plus.
