About this role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Material Handler to support our warehouse and production operations in the robotics industry. This individual will be responsible for receiving high-value components, accurately processing them in the Epicor ERP system, organizing inventory, and kitting material for the assembly of advanced robotic systems. The Material Handler plays a key role in ensuring inventory accuracy, production readiness, and maintaining a clean, efficient, and organized warehouse environment.

Main Tasks:

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments, including sensitive electronic and mechanical components used in robotics.
  • Accurately process receipts and inventory transactions in the Epicor ERP system.
  • Label, store, and organize materials in designated warehouse locations using best practices for component traceability and ESD-sensitive handling.
  • Kit and stage materials for the robotics assembly line based on build schedules and BOMs.
  • Support cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation efforts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and staging areas, in accordance with 5S and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain, quality, and engineering teams to resolve material or inventory discrepancies.
  • Proactively identify and suggest improvements to material flow and inventory control processes.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training is a plus.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a warehouse or material handling role, preferably in a high-tech or robotics/electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Epicor ERP or similar enterprise systems strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with electrostatic discharge (ESD) handling and packaging standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision in a fast-paced, high-mix production environment.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation such as BOMs, Job Pick Lists, Sales Orders, and part drawings.
  • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and standing or walking for extended periods.
  • Successfully complete pre-employment onboarding requirements that may include criminal/civil background checks
