Qualifications:
- Diploma/degree from a recognized two-year Rehabilitation Assistant program or from an equivalent or similar program focusing on physical rehabilitation, such as Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy Assistant, Kinesiology, etc.
- Previous experience working with clients in a health care facility
- Experience working with clients who have orthopaedic conditions required
- Experience delivering group therapy an asset
- Possess current CPR Certification
- Must be in excellent physical condition
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Demonstrated regular attendance at work
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
- This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
