As a Practice Manager, you’ll be a key player in legal operations, client care, and strategic initiatives. You’ll work closely with lawyers, attend client meetings, and help drive business success from the inside out. This is more than a legal assistant role — it’s a seat at the table.
A Typical Day
- Draft and format legal documents and agreements using precedents
- Support reorganizations, mergers, acquisitions, and closing processes
- Conduct due diligence searches and prepare closing books
- Maintain virtual minute books (e.g., ALF) and corporate records
- Track deliverables, manage workflows, and coordinate next steps
- Attend client meetings and manage intake and communications
- Handle scheduling, logistics, and general administrative support
- Assist with marketing, tech integration, and process improvements
- Legal administrative assistant diploma or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in corporate/commercial law; M&A experience is an asset
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent proofreading and formatting abilities
- Tech-savvy and eager to learn new tools
- Proactive, accountable, and solutions-focused
- Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Interest in continuous improvement and strategic planning
- $57000.00 - $75000.00 annually
