Job Summary:
The Material Handler / Receiver ensures smooth operation of LUMINOR’s production facilities through the transportation of raw and finished goods. This position is integral to having accurate inventory records and requires great attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
  • Assists production by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
  • Identify and maintain in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
  • Identify and label materials, and record their locations in the warehouse/racking to maintain inventory.
  • Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
  • Assists Production/Logistics by verifying finished materials and prepares items for shipment.
  • Documents Inventory of items from raw material to finished goods.
  • Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections.
  • Perform and report cycle counts.
  • Comply with all warehouse guidelines and safety rules.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Highschool diploma or equivalent.
  • One to five years of experience working in a warehouse setting or in logistics;
  • Experience in operating material handling equipment such as forklift, reach truck and pump truck with valid licensing preferred.
  • Must be able to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to read, write and to follow instructions, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Physically fit and ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to periodically bend and to lift materials up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to operate computers and relevant warehouse management computer software.

Working Conditions:
  • Full time, warehouse position
  • Overtime as required
  • Lifting, pushing, and pulling required.
  • Periods of sitting, standing, and walking
