A Career as a Sustainable Finance Advisor in the Commercial and Private Management 1859 sector at National Bank. This role means advancing the ESG transition and promoting sustainable economic growth. You will support our mid-sized and large business clients in their sustainability-related needs and ambitions. As a team member, you will play a central role in developing sustainable finance expertise, promoting our offerings to clients, and ensuring efficiency in lending processes and governance.


Your Role



  • Support the team in assisting account managers in preparing and presenting financing proposals.

  • Create concise documents for the advisory team on market and industry trends, gap assessments, and regulatory developments.

  • Assist with team logistics, including travel and meetings.

  • Ensure proper governance by reviewing certified loans according to established procedures.

  • Maintain databases related to loan target progress.

  • Support the team in establishing and reviewing loan certification processes, certification, and quality assurance of files.

  • Assist in preparing and delivering training sessions for the advisory team.

  • Contribute to the development and sustainability of the Sustainable Finance team’s quarterly newsletter.

  • Conduct research and create informative materials on the latest trends in sustainable finance, relevant regulations, and business opportunities.

  • Manage and update the Sustainable Finance team’s SharePoint site and other communication channels to present the most up-to-date resources.

  • Develop standardized and professional presentation templates to ensure visual and content consistency.


The Team


The Commercial sector supports clients operating across a wide range of industries. The Sustainable Finance team, composed of four members within the Vice Presidency of Sales Performance and Business Delivery Strategy, develops and governs financing products, equips and supports the advisory force to better serve our clients, and certifies the sustainability compliance of transactions.

Requirements



  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (business, finance, sustainability, engineering, etc.) and 7 to 10 years of experience, including at least 2 years in the financial/consulting/audit sector and an interest in sustainable finance.

  • Good understanding of the financial and banking sector, with strong business acumen.

  • Strong skills in communication, presentation, interpersonal relations, and negotiation, with the ability to build influential relationships.

  • Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary, complex, and fast-paced environment, with the ability to collaborate closely with various teams and external partners.
