Vice President

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President to lead and oversee the entire operations function of our food manufacturing business in the Langley, British Columbia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the operational strategy aligned with the company’s overall goals and growth plans.
• Lead and manage all plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, warehousing, and logistics.
• Oversee daily activities across multiple departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety (HACCP, SQF, CFIA, etc.) and health & safety regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in cost control, process optimization, and lean manufacturing.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align operational goals with sales, finance, and R&D teams.
• Lead and develop plant management and supervisory teams to maintain high performance and accountability.
• Monitor KPIs and operational performance, providing regular reporting and data-driven insights to executive leadership.
• Manage operational budgets, capital expenditures, and resource planning.
• Evaluate and implement technologies and systems to enhance productivity and traceability.
• Represent the company with vendors, regulatory agencies, and strategic partners when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive experience in operations leadership within the food manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience managing high-volume production facilities with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian food safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage change in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement programs is a strong asset.
