Are you our next Site Manager?

Are you a results-driven leader with a passion for operational excellence in a high-paced, customer-focused environment? Atlas Copco is seeking an experienced and proactive Technical Site Manager to represent our company onsite at our customer, GM Defense, in the Concord, NC facility. As the on-site Atlas Copco representative, you will ensure the daily functionality of Atlas Copco tools, systems, and support operations. You’ll also manage and troubleshoot SQL-based production databases, acting as the critical link between Atlas Copco and the customer.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • On-Site Technical Support: Be the go-to resource for technical support of Atlas Copco industrial tools and equipment.
  • Database Management: Manage, update, and run queries within SQL-based production databases to ensure tool and system data accuracy.
  • Network & Systems Support: Act as the first line of defense for diagnosing basic network and IT-related issues affecting tooling systems.
  • Customer Communication: Build strong working relationships with GM Defense teams, providing real-time updates, clear communication, and service excellence.

To succeed, you will need

Technical Proficiency

  • 1+ year of experience working with SQL databases
  • Advance knowledge of networking and IT systems

Industry Knowledge

  • Background in assembly tooling, manufacturing automation, or production environments

Soft Skills

  • Detail-oriented, self-driven, and able to work independently without daily supervision
  • Excellent communicator who can build rapport with both technical teams and customer stakeholders

Education

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, IT, or a related technical field is highly preferred
