What You’ll Do

• Review and process purchase orders, ensuring compliance with policies and best practices.
• Issue and track purchase orders, following up with vendors for timely delivery.
• Establish and maintain supplier relationships, sourcing new vendors when needed.
• Ensure materials comply with WHMIS, TDG, and hazardous material handling guidelines.
• Support internal teams by researching and identifying required materials.
• Maintain accurate procurement records in the system (ERRC, inventory count, and dollar values).
• Collaborate with technical teams for product catalog information.
• Assist with logistics and problem-solving to ensure smooth operations.
  
  

Who You Are

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in purchasing, materials management, or logistics.
• Education: Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Material Management (or equivalent experience).
• Skills & Abilities:
• Knowledge of procurement methods and accounting principles.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work within Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work cross-culturally and adapt to priorities.
  
  

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with Maximo, Oracle, and/or Oracle Discoverer.
• Familiarity with other ERP systems is an asset.
