This position blends a number of specialized tasks including general warehouse duties (picking/packing), inventory management (using SAP software) and pharmacy staging.
- Picking and packing materials and supplies as outlined on order worksheets.
- Picking, staging and decontaminating sensitive pharmacy raw ingredients to ensure supplies are available for production in the Cleanroom (highly sterile controlled environment).
- Assists with receiving.
- Performs inventory checks and ensures that all pick locations are maintained to proper inventory levels.
- Participates in various quality control checks and expiry date checks.
- Label and package finished products to ensure proper identification and integrity for shipping and final use.
- High school diploma
- Previous experience in pharmaceutical warehousing an asset
- Forklift certification an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on a specific task, while multi-tasking and handling fluctuating workloads when necessary
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels both inside and outside of the organization
- Good computer skills in MS Office – SAP experience highly beneficial
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
- Excellent continuous improvement skills
- Proven ability to adhere to standards & procedures and maintain confidentiality
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and able to bend/lift 5-30lbs multiple times throughout entire shift
