The Role In this role you'll be the connective tissue between our product, customer, and data teams. This isn’t a traditional data science role—it’s a fast-paced, high-responsibility role for someone who loves solving messy problems, turning requests into insights, and helping build scalable systems from the ground up. You’ll help define and improve how we triage and fulfill data requests, streamline CS reporting, and surface product insights that drive growth and retention. You’ll work closely with Product, CS, and Engineering to ensure our platform decisions are data-informed and our customer teams are fully equipped with the right information, at the right time

What You'll Do
- Own the analytics backlog for Customer Success and Product, including recurring reporting and usage analysis
- Translate ambiguous requests into structured analysis and action, working directly with CS, EMs, and product leaders
- Build dashboards and recurring reports that drive clarity on feature usage, client engagement, and operational performance
- Write complex SQL queries across varied schemas to extract and transform data
- Use Python or Google Sheets to analyze trends, automate repetitive tasks, and visualize findings
- Improve internal reporting workflows and help standardize the intake and delivery of stakeholder requests
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define key metrics, set up tracking requirements, and improve our analytics foundations
- Support a growing data culture by making insights accessible, explainable, and actionable across teams
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in a data, product, or business analyst role—ideally in a fast-paced SaaS or AI startup
- Strong SQL proficiency, with experience querying complex, multi-source environments
- Comfortable using Python (Pandas, NumPy) or scripting tools for data manipulation, automation, or lightweight analysis
- Hands-on experience with BI tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI, and strong Google Sheets fluency for operational and ad hoc reporting
- Ability to turn complex data into clear narratives, and confidently present insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience collaborating with CS, Product, and executive leaders to scope, prioritize, and execute data needs
- Proven ability to manage competing requests, bring structure to ambiguity, and deliver in cross-functional settings
- Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented, with strong project management instincts
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and resilient—comfortable operating in a fast-moving, early-stage environment
- A growth mindset, with openness to experimentation, feedback, and continuous learning
