Seeking a skilled Commercial Roofing Estimator to assess project requirements, prepare detailed cost estimates, and develop competitive bids for commercial roofing projects. This role directly supports the acquisition and successful execution of high-quality roofing systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits and review project documents to define scope.
- Prepare accurate estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Develop competitive bid proposals using estimating software (e.g. Bluebeam, PlanSwift).
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for pricing.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams throughout the bidding process.
- Maintain thorough documentation and reporting for all estimates.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial roofing estimating.
- Bachelor's in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related experience.
- Proficiency in estimating tools and Microsoft Office.
- Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems and construction plans.
- Excellent communication, math, and project coordination skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
