Estimator – ICI Construction

Hamilton, ON | $90K–$110K + benefits | Full-time, Permanent

A reputable ICI contractor is looking to add an Estimator to their team in Hamilton. The role is focused on new build and public-sector projects ranging from $1M to $40M. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to be hands-on with preconstruction and be part of a stable, well-run business.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing estimates for ICI tenders (commercial, institutional, public-sector)
• Handling full quantity takeoffs and material costing
• Coordinating with subtrades and suppliers for pricing
• Reviewing drawings and specs to flag scope gaps or risks
• Supporting bid closings and helping refine budgets
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience estimating ICI projects
• Strong takeoff and pricing skills
• Familiarity with CCDC contracts and public tendering
• Proficiency in Excel and estimating tools (Planswift, Procore Estimating, etc.)
• Diploma or degree in a construction-related field preferred
  
  

Salary: $90,000–$110,000 plus benefits
