The Opportunity
The HRBP will operate as a trusted advisor, consultant, analyst, change agent and coach, supporting the managers and their employees in Canada and the USA. The HRBP will sit alongside and collaborate with managers to develop and implement strategies that support people and the organizational needs through the deployment of our Employee Experience Strategic Plan.
Accountabilities:
- Along with the Director, you will execute on the daily needs of the organization and the full employee lifecycle.
- Building a result oriented, customer caring place to work by:
- Working with recruiting on recruiting the best talent
- Retaining our talent
- Onboarding / offboarding
- Facilitate workforce planning to understand the business requirements and translate that into an effective recruitment, onboarding, training, and engagement plan.
- Assist in executing the compensation and benefits plans.
- Supporting the development and execution of rewards and recognition programs.
- Supporting leaders with performance management
- Helping leaders daily with organizational and people activities.
- Ensure effective change management plans are in place for key changes impacting the organization.
- Other reasonable EX / HR related requests

What experience and qualifications do you need?
- Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Engagement, Compensation and Benefits
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Human Resources, or related field (HR professional accreditation preferred)
- HR designation for Canada or the US or working towards one or both
- Experience working in a multi-state and multi-province environment
- Valued for your agility and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and having a focus for action-orientation on results.
- Proven influencer and collaborator, with the ability to provide guidance and respected for balancing strategic and operational tasks with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Support to business clients.
- Experience managing HR platforms and systems, including both HRIS and ATS (implementation experience preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of employment law and associated regulations
- Willingness to learn, share innovative ideas, and be challenged to see things differently.
- Confident and effective communication skills – interpersonal, written, and verbal.
- Microsoft Office – advanced skills.
- Understands that AI is part of HR wheelhouse.
