At Fortified Nutrition Limited (FNL), we’re committed to supporting swine producers with innovative nutrition solutions, expert service, and strong relationships rooted in trust and performance. We're growing our footprint in Manitoba and looking for a driven Swine Sales Representative to join our team.


This role is key to driving growth and supporting both Hutterite colony and independent swine operations in the region. For the right candidate, this position also presents the opportunity to expand our reach into North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota.


Working with us:


This is a permanent, full-time position. Your home base will be where you live, which means you will work remotely with access to our facilities in Winnipeg, Morden, and Brandon. You will travel within your assigned territory in Manitoba up to 5 days a week. While the position location is posted as Winnipeg, our ideal candidate can be located elsewhere within the province.


What you’ll do:


Drive Sales Growth

  • Build strong relationships with swine producers and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Create and manage customer-specific feeding programs using our branded FNL/GVF products.
  • Visit existing accounts regularly and ensure all customer needs are met—sales, nutrition, and management.
  • Develop a focused prospect list and convert leads into long-term customers.
  • Continuously bring forward new ideas, products, and value to customers.


Deliver Exceptional On-Farm Service

  • Provide on-farm feed manufacturing and management support.
  • Conduct barn tours to diagnose issues and offer practical, performance-based solutions.
  • Collaborate with our monogastric nutritionists on ration requests and feed advice.
  • Offer holistic support—nutritional, health, genetics, and management.


Support Innovation and Product Development

  • Promote field-tested and new nutritional products.
  • Coordinate and monitor farm trials.
  • Share market feedback and insights to improve product offerings.


Champion Marketing and Public Relations

  • Represent our company at trade shows, producer meetings, local fairs, and community events.
  • Work with our marketing team to develop materials tailored to the Manitoba market.


Contribute to Team and Corporate Success

  • Maintain thorough records and submit timely reports.
  • Support accounts receivable collection within your territory.
  • Participate actively in team meetings and company-wide events.
  • Travel occasionally out of province as required.


Your background includes:


  • Relevant experience working with or selling to swine operations.
  • Hands on pork production experience is ideal.
  • Proven success in feed, nutritional additive, or related sales.
  • Deep knowledge of the swine and livestock industry.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
  • Tech-savvy with working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Valid Canadian driver’s license and ability to travel throughout Manitoba and across the US border as required.
