Overall Responsibilities:
You are part marketing scientist, part performance manager and part digital activation specialist. You are analytical by nature and get a thrill from not just exceeding performance targets, but uncovering insights that inform data-based media planning.
This role is responsible for digital planning, execution, implementing and interpreting analytics, measurement, and tracking of digital media campaigns. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in digital performance media.
What your day will look like:
1. Digital Activation
· Identify and develop tactical opportunities that meet client and corporate objectives through actionable insights derived from analytics.
· Brief and coordinate platform activation specialists (search, social and programmatic) to implement campaigns
· Purchase direct-to-vendor digital ad buys (e.g. video, audio, etc.)
· Work with planning teams to design a tagging infrastructure aligned to a measurement plan
· Liaise with ad-ops technicians to implement tags
· Coordinate trafficking of digital ad materials
2. Analytics
· Conduct accurate data processing, analysis, interpreting results and making actionable recommendations.
· Provide insight reports including audience, channel, ad creative and market learnings to inform future strategic planning decisions
3. Performance Management
· Oversee and inspire continual incremental KPI improvements
· Make data-informed investment optimization decisions between platforms
· Make optimization recommendations to planners and activation specialists
4. Communication & Collaboration
· Regular interaction with team members and calls and presentations to clients
· Liaise with internal OMD departments (e.g. Traffic, and Accounting) as well as OMD vendors.
Key Qualification:
3+ years of work experience; recent and proven experience in site direct/programmatic Display/OLV, Social & Search planning and activation is required.
· Hands on experience in paid search as well as one or more key social platforms: Meta, TikTok, Pinterest and Snap.
· Campaign ownership: campaign setup, ad creation, QA, pacing/budget management, optimizations
· Outstanding ability in optimizing and managing client digital strategy ensuring micro and macro goals are hit daily/weekly.
· Instill best practices, processes, methodologies, and frameworks for client team and broader functional team; work with team members to ensure they are being used
· Highly proficient in MS Office Suite, with emphasis on MS Excel.
· Proven experience with Google Analytics (GA4) and third-party ad-servers (e.g. Google Campaign Manager). Experience with other digital solutions (Omniture, WebTrends, Social Media monitoring) a bonus.
