We are a fast-growing, mission-driven team. Our R&D Assistants will play an important role in bridging the gap between product development and production. In this role, you will help validate and test all new formulas, production processes and equipment.

About The Role
We are a fast-growing, mission-driven team. Our R&D Assistants will play an important role in bridging the gap between product development and production. In this role, you will help validate and test all new formulas, production processes and equipment.
As a R&d Assistant You Will
- Collaboration with cross functional teams (including Food Science, Engineering, Quality, and Production) to validate and improve efficiency of new & custom pieces of equipment
- Support on production trials and experiments for new formulations and processes
- Assist team in tracking, analyze and present data on trials and experiments.
- Identify areas for increased optimization and work with the team to create and implement solutions.
- Assist team in creating SOPs, operator guides, troubleshooting guidelines and other documentation as needed.
- Familiarize and hold yourself accountable to all quality and sanitation standards, policies and procedures, escalating any issues and/or deficiencies when you see them.
- A Bachelors in a Science related field and experience in a lab setting.
- Experience working with or on a commercial production line is a bonus
- Understanding and knowledge of various instruments and tools in scientific experimentation and data analysis.
- Adaptable in a high paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability lift up to 20lbs.
- High attention to detail.
