In This Role, You Will
- Lead internal and external projects in a custom manufacturing environment
- Collaborate, solve problems and influence outcomes as part of a technical team to ensure we deliver on our commitments
- Define and manage the scope of supply, implementing change management processes where required
- Directly engage with our clients as the primary contact for external projects
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, action/risk registers and other project documentation
- Monitor and report (internally and externally) on project progress and performance
- Create and manage relationships including those with employees, suppliers, customers and other key stakeholders
- Co-ordinate internal and external resources and services
- Prioritize your work and the work of others as you lead several projects simultaneously, which are often at different project phases
- Contribute towards continuous improvement efforts across the company
- A Planner and project leader, capable of managing multiple priorities and driving initiatives from concept to execution.

- Available for business travel within North America and Overseas.
- Demonstrated ability to set direction and execute on plans
- Experience managing projects through planning, execution and close-out phases
- Strong leadership and facilitation skills in the coordination of activities among variable sized groups of different functional backgrounds
- A high-level of accountability to commitments
- Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes and comfortable working at all levels within the organization
- Previous experience in the marine industry or manufacturing environments would be an asset
- Ability to present project information to customers and other stakeholders; ability to navigate high pressure situations
- Minimum 3+ years of managing projects or related project experience, ideally in client-facing roles
- Minimum 5+ years of professional work experience (inclusive of project management experience)
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering or a related discipline
- Previous experience using SAP ERP would be an asset
- Project Management certifications (CAPM, PMP) would be an asset
