Syntax is seeking an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning FP&A Architect to play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing SAC Planning solutions.
The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise coupled with a strong understanding of FP&A processes, enabling them to architect innovative solutions that align with client business needs. As an SAC Planning FP&A Architect, you will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions by delivering scalable and efficient SAC Planning systems.

Syntax is seeking an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning FP&A Architect to play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing SAC Planning solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Architecture:
- Design end-to-end SAC Planning solutions tailored to complex FP&A requirements.
- Develop scalable and reusable architecture frameworks that align with client business processes and industry best practices.
- Ensure seamless integration of SAC with other SAP systems (e.g., S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere) and third-party platforms.
- Lead workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable technical designs.
- Provide strategic guidance on SAC Planning functionalities, including forecast modeling, budget planning, and scenario analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between technical and functional domains.
- Oversee the implementation of SAC Planning solutions, ensuring quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.
- Identify and resolve architectural challenges during project execution.
- Work closely with consultants to deliver robust and sustainable solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing recommendations for optimizing their FP&A solutions.
- Deliver presentations and technical demonstrations to highlight the value of SAC Planning capabilities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay updated on SAC Planning enhancements and emerging trends in analytics and FP&A.
- Drive innovation by proposing new functionalities or technologies to improve SAC Planning solutions.
- Promote best practices and mentor junior team members within Syntax.
Technical and Functional Expertise:
- Proven experience in architecting and implementing SAC Planning solutions, including advanced planning models, data actions, multi actions, reporting, and data integration.
- Strong knowledge of FP&A processes, including financial modeling, scenario planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Experience with SAP systems such as S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, or other related platforms.
- Knowledge of BPC Planning, BPC Consolidation, and SAP Group Reporting is a plus.
- Ability to design scalable, modular, and reusable architectures.
- Expertise in aligning business requirements with technical solutions through effective problem-solving and strategic thinking.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions to diverse audiences.
- Strong collaboration skills for working across teams and with clients.
- Leadership capabilities to mentor and guide team members.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- SAP certifications in Analytics Cloud or related domains are highly desirable.
