West Fraser is hiring Journeyman Electricians (and 3rd/4th year apprentices) at its Manning Forest Products facility in Alberta. This role supports continuous mill operations through preventive maintenance and equipment troubleshooting, offering a 7-on/7-off rotating shift schedule and strong long-term benefits.

What You'll Need

  • Valid Journeyperson Certification (or 3rd/4th year apprentice status)
  • Electrical maintenance and troubleshooting experience
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to work rotating day/night shifts

What Will Make You Stand Out

  • Experience in sawmills or industrial environments
  • Familiarity with RsLogix (5, 500, 5000) and process control systems
  • Knowledge of electric-over-pneumatic or hydraulic systems
