Sr. Test Analyst-Polarion ALM

Job Summary

The Sr. Test Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. With a focus on Polarion ALM the candidate will be responsible for designing executing and maintaining test cases. The role requires a deep understanding of testing methodologies and the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work model. The candidate will contribute to enhancing the overall product quality benefiting both the company and its clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Execute test cases and analyze results to identify defects and ensure product functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and design effective test scenarios.
• Utilize Polarion ALM to manage test cases track defects and generate reports.
• Provide detailed documentation of test results and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Participate in test planning meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes.
• Ensure that testing activities align with project timelines and deliverables.
• Conduct root cause analysis of defects and work with development teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and testing tools.
• Support the implementation of automated testing solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Monitor and report on testing progress and provide recommendations for process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all testing activities.
• Collaborate with team members in a hybrid work environment to achieve project goals.
  
  

Qualifications

• Possess strong experience in Polarion ALM for test management and defect tracking.
• Demonstrate proficiency in software testing methodologies and tools.
• Exhibit excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Have experience in the Provider domain which is a plus.
• Show ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
• Display strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Hold a relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field.
