Position Details The Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Lethbridge is currently seeking applications for a full-time 2 year term Executive and Administrative Support position.

The Faculty of Health Sciences is seeking a highly organized and service-oriented individual to join our team as Executive and Administrative Support for both our graduate and undergraduate nursing programs. Reporting to the Associate Dean, this position plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient delivery of academic programming and an exceptional student experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive administrative support to both graduate and undergraduate nursing programs, including:
  • Graduate Programs: Administrative and academic support for the Master of Nursing (MN) program.
  • Undergraduate Programs: Administrative and academic support for the Bachelor of Nursing (BN/BNAD) and Nursing Preparation Program (NPP).
  • Facilitate academic processes, student communications, calendar management, and documentation tracking.
  • Serve as a key liaison between students, faculty, and university departments to support the coordination of program activities.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of events, such as orientations, information sessions, and committee meetings.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in managing sensitive student and program information.
  • It requires extensive knowledge and familiarity with the policies and procedures of the Health Sciences programs, as well as the Faculty of Health Sciences and university as a whole.

Position Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess an undergraduate degree, preferably in health, with two to three years of related work experience; an equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered. The ideal candidate will possess an advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and email and database applications).

The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills (oral and written), strong interpersonal and presentation skills and a demonstrated ability for analytical reasoning, problem solving skills and the ability to work in an environment with numerous deadlines. Familiarity with the University of Lethbridge and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with members of the University community and general public is an asset
Starting Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE) $4,017.00 - $4,469.00 monthly
Full Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE) $4,017.00 - $4,921.00 monthly (AUPE - Grade 8)
