Organization & Position Summary

We are currently seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to join our Personal Injury team in our Downtown office. Duties & Responsibilities of Position

  • Ordering medical reports
  • Ordering wage loss reports
  • Contacting clients, ICBC, opposing lawyers, and other assistants regarding files
  • Preparing client binders and file material
  • Opening mail and preparing outgoing mail and faxes
  • Filing and other administrative support tasks
  • Coordinating and maintaining calendars of our Personal Injury lawyers.

Required and Ideal Qualifications

  • Completion of a Legal Administrative Assistant program
  • Minimum 1 year experience in Plaintiff Personal Injury department
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Experience with Personal Injury cases in Alberta is an asset
  • Experience with Elite is an asset
  • Experience with BC Online and LTSA is an asset

Job Details

  • Job Type: In person, full-time – 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday.
  • Additional Pay: Overtime Pay (if required)

Salary:

The salary range for this position is $55,000 – $65,000 annually; the base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal and market equity.
