Senior Operations Analyst

Tetra Trust is looking for a Senior Operations Analyst to join our team. Reporting to the Head of  Operations, this individual will play a leadership role within the Operations team, helping scale the function and taking on key responsibilities that free up senior leadership from day-to-day execution.

This role will be based in Calgary with a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week. This role requires a full-time office work model during the first month for training.

What Will You Do? 

• Lead operational workflows and act as an escalation point for resolving complex operational issues.
• Independently drive cross-functional initiatives with minimal oversight.
• Mentor and support operations analyst; provide guidance and quality review of their work.
• Design and improve scalable, repeatable operational processes and procedures.
• Own and track KPIs/SLAs for operational excellence; implement solutions where needed.
• Provide functional and technical support for all electronic fund movements of digital assets and fiat, including FX and banking systems.
• Field customer inquiries relating but not limited to custody solution functionality, market events, business technology, product schedules, and connectivity.
• Supply front line support for internal and external investigations related to the operations of our custody product.
• Coordinate with product and development teams to launch new products and implement updates to our platform.
• Assist with onboarding and ongoing support of clients and vendors.
• Work cross functionally with different teams, such as client services, product design, development, etc.
• Have a strong understanding of the digital asset market and how Tetra’s custody solution operates.

What Are We Looking For?

• Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience. 
• Minimum 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in digital assets or financial operations, with deep familiarity of digital assets and blockchain.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Curiosity and enthusiasm to learn, experiment, and deliver innovative solutions.
• Growth mindset with a passion for the crypto industry and trends.
• Proven ability to lead projects independently, manage time effectively, and handle escalations with maturity.
• Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Excel; additional experience with data tools, automation platforms, or scripting languages is a plus.
