Purpose:
The Academic Peer Support Assistant Lead is responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of peer development programs designed to support academic performance and student engagement. This role will also provide support to Academic Peer Support Assistants.

Education:
Must be enrolled as a York student

Experience:
Previous work experience may be considered

Ability to provide insight and suggestions to support individuals in making informed decisions.Ability to collaborate and work with others to complete a shared goal.Ability to provide instruction and support others in developing knowledge or skills.Ability to lead and motivate others towards learning new knowledge.Ability to take initiative and demonstrate leadership skills.Ability to understand and relate to others.
