Construction Supervisor

Levert is currently seeking resumes for an experienced Construction Supervisor for our client in the mining industry in Northern Ontario.

This is rotation of 14/14 on site.

What you will need:

Experience in projects related to mining, site rehabilitation, demolition and/or infrastructure is desirable

8 to 15 years of experience as a construction supervisor.

Northern experience is an asset;

About the job

The Site Supervisor will be called upon to coordinate activities on our construction sites, and to supervise all site personnel, including those of subcontractors. More specifically, the site supervisor's responsibilities are as follows:
Be accountable for the application of the company's health and safety rules and policies for all participants on site;
Comply with the various work instructions and guidelines, protocols and procedures arising from our quality control systems and other company policies;
Supervise and document construction activities on site;
Organize and direct subcontractors and suppliers in the execution of work;
Liaise with project managers, consultants and designers, as well as with internal and external team members;
Effectively resolve problems encountered on site;
Daily reporting
Provide updates on progress and forecast trends of field work to Project Managers;
Experience in projects related to mining, site rehabilitation, demolition and/or infrastructure is desirable.
