Job Description

Job Summary/Objective

• Signature Required, Interoffice and Canada Post mail are delivered at designated times.
• Canada Post Mail delivered to appropriate drop and then picks up outbound mail.
• Outgoing couriers delivered to the customer directly or to a co-worker and requires a signature.
• Mail placed in outbound box will consist of: interoffice, metered mail, Accountable mail, etc.
• All outbound mail received is separated by interoffice, metered and Accountable mail for delivery to the Mail Hub.
• Process outbound couriers in a timely and efficient manner
• Performs acceptable volume of work in timely, efficient and accurate manner and in order of scheduled priorities to meet or exceed client expectations of processing schedule
• Performs verification duties as required
• May trouble shoot data problems
• May operate peripheral equipment
• May assist in development of production formats and keying procedures
• Demonstrates high levels of safety awareness and notifies supervisor of potential hazards
• Follows the security and privacy policies, standards and guidelines in order to protect the informational assets of both the company and their customers
• Performs other duties as required
• Repetitive motion is required: may require twisting/bending/climbing
• Required to work at computer for long periods
• Required to stand, walk, simple grasp, reach with hands and arms
• Required to regularly sit, talk or hear
• Required to possess close vision and ability to focus
• Conditions may include office environment, computer room, production floor, warehouse and shipping/receiving. Occasional exposure to dust, dirt, toner, ink and other environmental factors is possible.
• The pay range for this position starts at $17.60 however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonus opportunities may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
