We’re looking for a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Data Scientist / Analyst to lead the data strategy across TPS product lines—including wireless, wireline, connectivity, and digital identity. What You’ll Do
You’ll take end-to-end ownership of the data and analytics roadmap for TELUS Partner Solutions products. Working closely with Product Managers and cross-functional stakeholders, you'll build scalable data solutions that deliver insight, operational efficiency, and AI-powered innovation.
Key responsibilities:
- Define and lead the data strategy and roadmap for multiple TPS product lines
- Build end-to-end visibility into product, operational, and financial data to support daily business decisions
- Partner with Product Managers to define KPIs, develop insights, and bring clarity to business performance
- Identify data gaps and blind spots, and lead cross-functional efforts to close them through scalable solutions
- Work with BI, Engineering, and Data Governance teams to source, model, and manage datasets
- Build dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or other tools to enable product and executive insights
- Prototype new workflows, Python scripts, and automation pipelines to accelerate outcomes
- Evaluate and embed AI and Agentic AI capabilities into TPS products and services
- Contribute to building a scalable, foundational data architecture that enables innovation and long-term growth
Qualifications
What You Bring
- 2+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or product strategy
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset with experience leading initiatives independently
- Proficiency in SQL and Python; comfortable working with cloud platforms (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake)
- Skilled in dashboard development using Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent tools
- Experience resolving data quality issues and closing data gaps across teams
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, automation, and data product design
- Experience with Agentic AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGPT, OpenAI functions) is a strong asset
- MCP Server knowledge (in the context of Agentic AI infrastructure or orchestration) is a plus
- Excellent data storytelling and stakeholder engagement skills
- Bonus: Exposure to wireless, wireline, IoT, or telecom B2B ecosystems

Salary Range: $102,000-$154,000 Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15%
Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
