- Organizational Design - Design scalable teams to support the business in moving towards future objectives
- Headcount Planning - Partner with the business to anticipate short and long term staffing needs, identifying opportunities for internal talent development.
- Performance Enablement - Build programming that drives performance rather than just measuring it
- Geographical expansion - Prepare our teams across HQ and stores as we move into new regions and locales
- Employee Engagement - Keep a pulse on how our employees are feeling and how we can support them in their work
- Optimize Operations - From goal setting to cross-functional collaboration, partner with the business to streamline our ways of working to authentically Knix
- Internal Communications - Deliver the news! Ensure our employees are in the know about what’s going on around the business and how it affects them.
- Talent Acquisition Strategy - Be a support to our Director of TA and TA team working through best practices in strategic planning for global growth.
- Compensation and Rewards - Own our total rewards and compensation structure ensuring it attracts and retains the best talent
- Training and Development - Build a best in class L&D program supporting our HQ & Retail Teams
- DE&I Champion - Ensuring equitability across the entire organization
- Data & Analytics - Leverage data to drive thoughtful decision making and monitor key P&C metrics
- Compliance and Policy Work - Ensure we’re always on track with employment law and legislation for both HQ and the Retail side of the business (includes US)
- You're a clear communicator who values transparency, data, and continuous learning

- You’ve scaled People Operations teams and know how to align hiring with real business needs
- You’ve built a People practice others admire and want to replicate
- You bring deep HR expertise—org design, performance, engagement, coaching, conflict resolution, and data—and can turn it into practical programs
- You adapt your approach to fit the needs of the company and the people in it
- You lead with presence, make smart decisions, and operate with discretion and care
- You're excited to build something meaningful—and this is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for
- 15+ years of progressive HR experience, including 5+ years in an executive role
- Background in HR or related field; CHRL certification preferred
- Executive-level experience in a high-growth, retail-focused organization
- Track record managing teams of 500+ across global markets
- Strong knowledge of employment laws in Canada and the U.S
- Proven success building high-performing, collaborative HR teams
- Strategic thinker with a strong ability to align people's initiatives to business goals
- Experience leading People, Talent, Internal Comms, and Learning functions
- Comfortable using data to guide decisions and measure impact
- Excellent communicator with sharp attention to detail
- Strong multitasker who thrives under pressure and solves problems independently
- Confident leader with experience managing large teams and complex employee relations
- Skilled in leveraging people technologies and systems effectively
