Our client, a professional services firm is seeking a Marketing & Events Coordinator to develop and support the firm’s marketing and communications strategy. Reporting to senior management, this role would see the successful candidate delivering communications and marketing strategy within a professional, client-focused environment.

- Developing a marketing plan for the organization and presenting it to management for approval
- Identifying marketing initiatives that add value to existing plans
- Coordinate advertising
- Manage media partnerships and sponsorships
- Coordinate events, seminars and workshops
- Plan and execute social media initiatives
- Work with external partners for website update and re-design
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Post secondary education in Communications, Public Relations or related field
- A minimum of two years relevant experience, with preference given to those candidates whose experience was acquired within a professional services environment
- Experience working at both a strategic and tactical level; creating a marketing plan and delivering professional events within budget
- Experience writing and curating marketing content
- Experience working with external vendors and partners to manage projects
- Experience in social media
- Strong organizational skills
