The Administrative Coordinator, Check in/Check out is responsible for ensuring a smooth check in/check out process which will enhance the overall customer experience but ensuring an on-time, exception free delivery.

The Administrative Coordinator, Check in/Check out is responsible for ensuring a smooth check in/check out process which will enhance the overall customer experience but ensuring an on-time, exception free delivery.
How You’ll Help
- Ensure specific freight bill details are captured to plan for Inbound/Outbound freight movement.
- Entering of dangerous good information to ensure accurate placard requirements.
- Updating the trip board to signal load is complete, all paperwork is ready and trailer is ready to move.
- Provide manifest details to P&D drivers [via handheld] as visibility to load sequence
- Ensuring Brokers/Drivers/Cartage have all P&D paperwork / info accounted for when returning to terminal to ensure freight statuses are updated accurately and timely and scan said paperwork to imaging database as required
- Create new freight bills for spot and switch trailers
- Ensure Brokers/Drivers are asked if they have any refused and/or undelivered freight
- Review driver trip details and ensure all assigned and executed work are adequately captured for accurate driver payments.
- Any additional workload given as specified by manager.

- Computer skills – accuracy, MS products, TruckMate, web based programs

- Minimum of high school education
- Post-secondary education (general stream), or a combination of education and experience an asset
- Previous Transportation or operational experience is preferred, various roles within transportation would be beneficial. Business Management experience.
- Troubleshooting and problem solving skills, the ability to evaluate current situation, respond quickly to changing requirements, execute and escalate accordingly
- Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced setting
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline driven environment; appropriate sense of urgency
- Ability to work independently and to collaborate with others to meet customer expectations
