Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Plant Manager and collaborate with the Production Manager to oversee daily production operations, ensuring efficiency and quality assurance.
- Develop and coordinate production schedules, managing material availability and labor needs.
- Maximize the use of plant equipment and workforce to enhance output and control costs.
- Gather, track, and evaluate production data to drive operational improvements.
- Uphold high-quality standards while innovating and implementing new processing methods.
- Support logistics for incoming and outgoing products to ensure smooth workflow.
- Mentor, train, and collaborate with production staff to foster a skilled and motivated team.
- Enforce all safety regulations and promote best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
- Identify and resolve operational challenges promptly to minimize production downtime.
- Operate forklifts as needed in both production and cold storage areas.
- Prior experience in the seafood processing industry is required.
- Strong leadership capabilities with excellent problem-solving skills to inspire and guide teams.
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-moving environment.
- Solid organizational and time management skills.
- Experience in plant operations and production scheduling.
- Knowledge of seafood safety standards and processing best practices.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a high-speed environment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Fluency in English is required; additional fluency in Chinese, Japanese, or Vietnamese is a plus.
