City: Mississauga, ON
Contract type: Full time

Ready to revolutionize education finance rather than just manage it? At Trilogy, we're not looking for a traditional CFO who thrives on headcount and routine. We need a visionary system architect who can build the financial backbone for our ambitious education ventures.

Our portfolio spans groundbreaking K-12 schools and innovative EdTech platforms—each pushing educational boundaries in their own right. The success of these ventures hinges on a finance function that's precise, expandable, and intelligent. That's your domain.

This role transcends strategy—it's about creating and owning systems. You'll engineer an AI-powered financial infrastructure that eliminates the need for bloated teams. From tuition management to regulatory compliance, you'll drive efficiency through thoughtful decision documentation and systematic simplification.

You'll collaborate directly with our leadership team on expansion initiatives, budget planning, vendor negotiations, and compliance requirements. Your financial architecture will underpin revolutionary educational models and impact learning experiences for millions of students worldwide.

Join us to build the financial foundation for the future of education.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Architect and implement a cutting-edge, AI-driven financial ecosystem supporting our rapidly expanding education enterprises
  • Craft strategic Design Decisions that streamline and enhance critical financial processes
  • Provide expert written feedback on Deep Dives and Improvement Plans to refine reasoning and develop both AI systems and human talent
  • Engage in strategic discussions covering budgetary planning, market expansion, vendor partnerships, and regulatory alignment
  • Orchestrate seamless large-scale financial operations across tuition collection, audit processes, and tax compliance

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Overseeing a conventional, hierarchical finance department
  • Micromanaging monthly closing procedures or routine transaction approvals
  • Settling for standard ERP solutions without optimization
  • Pushing essential tasks downward—this position exemplifies hands-on leadership
  • Operating within a predictable, unchanging environment—we're in rapid development and expansion mode
