Summary:

This role is for a team that is building Thomson Reuters' AI Assistant for CPA Firms. We're redefining how an entire industry works. About The Role

You'll own the core product experience that thousands of tax professionals rely on daily. This isn't about incremental improvements; you'll drive fundamental innovation in how AI assistants work within tax workflows, from reimagining core interaction paradigms to crafting specific features that delight users. You'll work directly with our engineering teams in a culture that values autonomy, rapid iteration, and bold product decisions.

What You'll Do:

  • Shape the product vision for core AI assistant capabilities and user experiences
  • Drive feature development from conception through launch, working closely with autonomous engineering teams
  • Own user research and insights to deeply understand CPA firm workflows, pain points, and opportunities
  • Define and optimize key user journeys and interaction patterns
  • Collaborate with AI/ML teams to translate complex capabilities into intuitive user experiences
  • Manage stakeholder relationships across the organization while maintaining focus on user needs
  • Analyze product performance and iterate rapidly based on user feedback and data


About You

Domain Expertise:

  • Experience with tax software, tax preparation workflows, or accounting firm operations
  • Deep understanding of CPA firm dynamics, roles, and seasonal workflows
  • Familiarity with tax compliance processes and professional accounting standards


Product Skills:

  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in B2B SaaS or professional tools
  • Strong UX intuition and experience designing complex workflow applications
  • Track record of shipping successful features in fast-paced environments
  • Experience working with AI/ML capabilities and translating them into user value

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations.

Eligible office location(s) for this role include one or more of the following: New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and/or Irvine, CA; McLean, VA; Washington, DC. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $134,680 - $250,120.

For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $116,900 - $217,100.

This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
