Tru Earth is looking for a General Labor (Production Associate) to join our team from 3pm to 11:30pm in Mississauga!
(Shifts may start on a biweekly rotation in January based on Production Demand)

The General Labor role is accountable for operating equipment in a warehouse and preparing items for further processing. Responsibilities include checking products, assembling, packing, or moving items to ensure equipment runs smoothly.

Main Job Tasks, & Duties

  • Follow safety protocols, use PPE, report hazards, and maintain a clean work area.
  • Assemble products, inspect for defects, package for shipment, and move materials as needed.
  • Operate machinery safely and efficiently; participate in maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Help train new team members, work collaboratively to achieve targets, and solve operational issues.
  • Support initiatives to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality.
  • Perform other tasks as required

Education and Experience

  • High school education.
  • Experience in an assembly line or warehouse setting is an asset.
  • WHMIS Certification is an asset.

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Methodical and precise in task execution.
  • Strong team player with corrective action skills.
  • Calm under pressure, capable of multitasking in fast-paced environments.
  • Skilled in equipment operation and control.
  • Able to lift 20-40 lbs as required.
  • Committed to environmental responsibility and reducing plastic use.
  • Maintains confidentiality and demonstrates ethical behavior.
