Description
Your main responsibilities
To prepare layout drawings for new installations, modernisation and exports and to assist regional sales representatives and product engineers in the preparation of layout drawings when required for tenders.
The on-time preparation of drawings / proposals drawings, documents suitable for the procurement and installation of lift equipment.
To effectively manage their own activities to ensure conformance to tendered costs, project plans and client specification

Description
Your main responsibilities
To prepare layout drawings for new installations, modernisation and exports and to assist regional sales representatives and product engineers in the preparation of layout drawings when required for tenders.
The on-time preparation of drawings / proposals drawings, documents suitable for the procurement and installation of lift equipment.
To effectively manage their own activities to ensure conformance to tendered costs, project plans and client specification
Key Responsibilities Include
- Ensure that all applicable lift design and regulations are adhered to.
- Ensure that customer requirements are satisfied as per Lift Material Specification.
- Prepare a layout drawing.
- Prepare proposal drawings when required for approval.
- Prepare manufacturing drawings for non-standard components
- Specify / requisition the required material on-time.
- Maintain all the necessary activities to ensure real-time project information via SAP
- Provide technical support to regional sales representatives and project managers
- The Project Engineer will have the organisational freedom to carry out these responsibilities and duties diligently, effectively and efficiently and will be held accountable for the on-time, correct and complete execution of these activities.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in installation and service of elevators/escalators, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office. SAP knowledge is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization
- Correctly interpret client requirements for the on-time preparation of layout / manufacturing / proposal drawings.
- Perform all engineering / specifying activities correctly and on time, and in doing so maintaining the appropriate SAP activities.
