Responsibilities
- Monitor ticketing systems, analyze incidents/requests, and coordinate resolution with IT teams
- Perform root cause analysis and ensure system usability for end-users
- Provide support and expert knowledge on workflow design within policy systems
- Conduct business requirements gathering sessions and lead stakeholder workshops
- Document and review functional and technical requirements
- Build strong cross-functional relationships to support business goals
- Partner with dev and QA teams to validate solutions and assist in troubleshooting
- Support testing phases, including writing test plans/scripts and facilitating UAT signoff
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Commercial P&C insurance
- Proven experience with Guidewire Policy Center
- Knowledge of policy administration systems and external system integrations
- Understanding of both Agile and Waterfall (SDLC/PMLC) methodologies
- Skilled in writing business requirements, user stories, and process flows
- Strong analytical thinking and communication skills
- Experience with visualization tools
- Familiarity with SharePoint, UI mockup tools, Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint
- Exposure to UAT planning and execution
- Ability to manage tasks independently and work across multiple teams
