As the Customer Account Manager at Sage, every day you will meet and exceed assigned sales goals and objectives through add-on sales, upgrades to existing accounts, or migration to additional Sage products/services while delivering an extraordinary customer experience. To thrive in this role, these goals are achieved through the effective management of an assigned territory consisting of existing Sage customers and their associated channel partners. A consultative, value-based selling approach is utilized to increase the adoption and utilization of Sage solutions via add-ons, upgrades, cross-selling, and connected services.

***This is a hybrid office role that requires meeting 3 days a week in either the downtown Toronto office or the downtown Vancouver office. ***

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Upsell & Cross-sell Collaboration with Sage Resellers.

  • Proactively develop and execute joint upsell and cross-sell strategies in close collaboration with assigned Sage reseller partners.

  • Identify and present opportunities for customers to adopt additional Sage 300/X3 modules, expand user licenses, or integrate complementary Sage solutions (e.g., payroll, CRM, analytics).

  • Educate and enable partners on new product features, value propositions, and sales methodologies to maximize joint revenue.

  • Facilitate and participate in joint customer meetings and presentations, acting as a Sage product expert and relationship manager.



  • Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in French + English, written and spoken, preferred.

  • 3+ years of business-to-business consultative sales experience achieving/overachieving an individual sales quota or equivalent experience is required.

  • •Must have excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize. •Experience in account management, channel sales, or in the software/technology industry is a plus.
  • A fundamental understanding of business process and operations is a plus.

  • General computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products are required.

    The compensation will be determined by location, level, job-related knowledge, education, and experience. Certain provinces in Canada require job postings to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range applicable to the role.

    In those locations, the target salary range for new hires for this role is $57,600 to $88,800, with commissions. The OTE (On Target Earnings) can be up to $148,000, depending on the experience level, etc.



    In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either a bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a role-based commission plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide specific opportunities in our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates. The range listed is just one component of the Sage total compensation package.
