Private Client Services

The Technical Service Representative, Private Client Services plays a key role in supporting the delivery of exceptional service to high-net worth personal insurance clients. This position is responsible for providing administrative and technical support to the client service team. The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of personal lines insurance, attention to detail and a proactive, client-focused approach.

Role Description

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide administrative and technical support to the Private Client Services team, including preparing insurance summaries, client correspondence, and processing policy endorsement through carrier portals
  • Assist in preparing accurate and timely new business quotations and proposals
  • Review and verify policy documents to ensure accuracy before delivery to clients
  • Manage client billing inquiries, process invoicing and follow up on accounts receivables
  • Maintain up-to-date and organized client records in the Broker Management System (Applied EPIC), including attaching incoming mail and electronic documents
  • Conduct thorough annual policy reviews and generate renewal or new business quotes to ensure appropriate and competitive coverage
  • Negotiate with insurers, prepare professional submissions, and support business growth through cross-selling and up-selling opportunities
  • Deliver professional, responsive and knowledgeable service to high-net-worth clients, ensuring a superior client experience
  • Communicate complex insurance concepts in a clear, client-friendly manner with a high degree of professionalism and integrity
  • Adhere to internal best practices and compliance standards in all client file management and documentation


Experience Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance, with a focus on Personal Lines clients
  • Working knowledge of high-net-worth insurers and MGAs
  • Experience working with insurer portals such as RSA, Intact, Aviva, Economical and Northbridge
  • Valid RIBO (Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario) license
  • Highly organized and self-motivated
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Compu-Quote
  • Familiarity with Applied EPIC is an asset
  • Collaborative team player with a strong client-service mindset
