CPP is looking to add an Acquisitions & Integration Analyst to its Mergers, Acquisitions, & Integrations (MA&I) team in Calgary, AB. As a member of the MA&I team, you’ll help evaluate prospective acquisitions, drive due diligence workstreams, and support system integrations. Success in this role has an outsized impact on the ability to generate value with a clinic partner and for CPP.

CPP is looking to add an Acquisitions & Integration Analyst to its Mergers, Acquisitions, & Integrations (MA&I) team in Calgary, AB. As a member of the MA&I team, you’ll help evaluate prospective acquisitions, drive due diligence workstreams, and support system integrations. Success in this role has an outsized impact on the ability to generate value with a clinic partner and for CPP.
Key Objectives
- Lead financial analysis, valuations, and benchmarking to evaluate clinic performance and potential fit with CPP
- Own the due diligence process and participate in all workstreams in a transparent process environment
- Work closely and collaborate with a cross-functional transaction team including CPP’s Legal, Accounting, and Business Operations teams to acquire and integrate new partners into the platform
- Work with clinic leadership and staff to support their integration onto CPP’s financial, IT, and operations management systems
- Collaborate across CPP teams to provide updates, share clinic insights, and address clinic-specific considerations, (e.g., growth opportunities, compliance)
- Support the CPP M&A team’s efforts to develop short- and long-term clinic growth and resourcing plans
- 1 – 2 years’ experience within a leading transaction advisory, investment banking, corporate development, or consulting firm
- Relevant undergraduate degree
- Foundation within a transaction-based environment including an understanding of an M&A process, corporate finance principles, valuation methodologies, and accounting practices
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work within a team and build relationships across a wide variety of deal team stakeholders
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience in synthesizing detailed analysis into concise presentation materials
- Proven problem-solving skills, both quantitatively and qualitatively, and a focus on output
- High levels of initiative, strong organizational skills, and experience prioritizing and managing one’s time in a fast-paced environment
