We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established, Calgary-based commercial HVAC subcontractor that’s looking to add a seasoned Estimator/Project Manager to their growing team. What You’ll Do

Estimate commercial HVAC projects ranging from $100K to $2M+ (goal of $2–5M annually) Lead duct take-offs, interpret mechanical drawings, and scope out complete bid packages Conduct site visits and walkthroughs as needed to validate job scope and pricing Coordinate closely with suppliers and subcontractors to price materials and schedule work Collaborate with the owner and service manager on pricing strategy and project execution Help build and maintain client relationships to land repeat business and maintenance contracts Oversee awarded projects through to hand-off and closeout with field team Contribute to long-term growth by identifying future opportunities and efficiencies

What You Bring

10+ years in commercial HVAC (field + estimating/project management experience) Strong ability to read drawings and perform duct take-offs Experience in pricing HVAC scopes for TI, new construction, and renovation work Familiarity with Calgary’s commercial GC community and local supplier network Independent, organized, and confident decision-maker with team-first mindset Bonus: Experience or understanding of plumbing or full mechanical scopes
