Bayshore Home Care Solutions, Niagara Branch, seeks a motivated and engaged Manager, Branch Support.

Full time, permanent position
Monday – Friday business hours with flexibility to support after hours on occasion, as needed
Some local travel required to other branch sites and external stakeholders, community partner settings

The Manager, Branch Support, under the direction of the Area Director, oversees the day-to-day branch operations and manages the administrative team. They also support and actively participate in risk management activities, the internal auditing programs, ISO audits and supports business development/marketing activities as appropriate. They ensure alignment with strategic direction provided by the Area Director.

Duties and Responsibilities

Assisting in the collection of required reports for the Management Review meetings.
Maintains employee engagement activities in coordination with human resources
Assist with business development and marketing activities as requested.
Promote a strong sense of teamwork and a culture of respect by working together safely, effectively, efficiently with all employees to maintain a productive participatory environment.
Manage the data collection for various operations and HR reports
Assist with office operations including space allocation, scheduling, and workload coordination to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
Prepare bi-weekly payroll submission for branch administration
Tracking and tending the implementation of follow-up actions as identified through the internal audits and Management Reviews.
Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities.
Adhere to Bayshore Policies and Procedures.
Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company's Quality Management System.
Enforce all health and workplace safety standards to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
Manages facilities related maintenance and acts as go between with facility landlords
Participates in proactive Health & Safety activities while performing all duties. Is responsible to notify immediate Supervisor of any Health & Safety risks or concerns. Responsible for completing Accident Reports for all direct reports who injure themselves on the job, within 24 hours of the incident.
Maintains confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel
Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

Education
Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in a health or business related field.

Experience
At least five years of progressively responsible recent experience in office management, two of which were at a supervisory level; strong track record of performance and knowledge/exposure to of business operations, business development, financial management and human resources.

Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to handle difficult situations in an objective consistent format; ability to work independently and as part of a team; excellent coaching skills and commitment to continual learning; above average communication and problem solving skills. Strategic, high energy, positive, holds strong ethics and is good at relationship building.
