About The Role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with a proven track record in managing large-scale, high-stakes aerospace projects—ideally including military contracts experience. This pivotal role will oversee the successful execution of a major government defense project, including design and installation of very specialized test equipment, building expansion and set-up of new manufacturing capabilities, under tight program timelines. While a separate construction PM will be in place, you will ensure seamless integration of all workstreams under the program umbrella.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end management of a major multi-year aerospace defense manufacturing and repair project, ensuring deliverables, timelines, and budgets are met
• Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams (engineering, procurement, production, construction, quality, major sub-contractors and government liaisons).
• Oversee equipment design, procurement, installation, testing, and integration
• Act as the primary point of contact with government stakeholders.
• Monitor risks, develop mitigation strategies, and report progress to our military customer and executive leadership.
• Maintain strict compliance with security protocols and contractual obligations.
• Work closely with the dedicated Construction Project Manager to align facility upgrades with operational and technical requirements.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of project management experience in the aerospace and/or defense sector
• Proven experience managing complex, multi-million-dollar military contracts
• PMP Certification required
• Demonstrated ability to deliver under pressure and within highly regulated environments
• Eligible for military security clearance
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
• Bilingual (French and English*)
• The position requires a very good knowledge of English, both oral and written. The position involves reading and understanding technical documents in English on a daily basis, especially from international companies, as well as regular communication with customers, suppliers and other international stakeholders.
