The Public Engineering team provides solutions for different Health Authorities in Canada. TELUS Health Space is one of them, allowing more than 2 millions Canadians to get easy access to their personal health information.


As a Systems Analyst you will play a key role in the deployment and configuration of various servers and applications as it relates to our Personal Health Record (PHR) platform. You will work alongside our business partners, solution architects, vendors and application development teams to investigate, resolve client and integration issues. System Analysts in the team own the deployment process for a cycle from the initial package to the final delivery.


What you’ll do:


  • Participate in the installation of new software and software upgrades
  • Maintain and build automation scripts
  • Provide 3rd level and on-call support as necessary
  • Test, identify issues, troubleshoot to determine root cause
  • Track issues and ensure that they are resolved satisfactorily
  • Develop and design automation tools to support your daily activities


Qualifications


What you bring


  • 3+ years experience with MSFT environment
  • 3+ years experience with SQL
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role within a large, complex organization
  • Windows Server 2019 - IIS 10
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2022 Entreprise
  • PowerShell
  • Basic understanding of Networks
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Solid understanding of MSFT operating systems
  • Good understanding of data structures and logs
  • Willing to work in a 24 x 7 on call rotation

Intermediate knowledge of English is required because you will on a regular basis interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope.

Salary Range: $63,000-$95,000 Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 10%
