We are looking for an exceptional team player, working as a junior family lawyer for YLaw – Yaletown location. This position would be ideal for a total go-getter, someone who is passionate about family law and wants to become one of the best in BC.
Our firm holds our lawyers to the highest standard of practice. For that reason, we have established a state-of-the-art mentorship program that strives to ensure our lawyers achieve the highest standards of practice in family law.
We have been successful counsel on numerous groundbreaking and precedent setting cases in BC, including cases from the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court. We are the largest family law firm in the province with a positive reputation and insatiable thirst for innovation and quality of work.
The ideal lawyer would:
- Have 1-3 year of experience in family law
- Prioritize practice of law over all else, and work hard at becoming one of the best;
- Be a Self-starter, not afraid of taking risks;
- Have a balanced approach to settlements and litigation based on the needs of the client
- Respectful, kind, team player
- Looking for a long term working relationship

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: $95,000 to $115,000 plus discretionary and performance bonuses up to approximately $40,000 per annum.
