About The Opportunity
McDougall Energy is looking for a detail-oriented individual who enjoys working within a fast-paced team environment as a Corporate Administration Clerk (Retail). Reporting to the Director - Finance the position is responsible for overall reconciliation and administration for several company owned retail sites.

About The Opportunity
McDougall Energy is looking for a detail-oriented individual who enjoys working within a fast-paced team environment as a Corporate Administration Clerk (Retail). Reporting to the Director - Finance the position is responsible for overall reconciliation and administration for several company owned retail sites.
Responsibilities Include
- Reconciling daily bank deposits between retail workbooks and the bank
- Reconciling weekly retail reports and audit
- Monthly reconciliation of completed workbook activity to the bank to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Recording of monthly retail sales in ERP system.
- Providing support, education and guidance to all sites to ensure daily reconciliations of activities is completed at all locations
- Account receivable and payable activities for retail locations.
- Monitor and reconcile fuel and lubes inventory from ERP system to/from retail workbooks.
- Monitor and report on capital project spending at corporate retail owned locations
- Playing an integral role in month-end closing activities as required in the finance department.
- Participate in annual external financial audit providing support for transactional activity recorded throughout each fiscal year.
- College Diploma in Accounting or related area
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in accounts payable or receivable, and in processing and reconciling accounting data in a computerized account environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of data; strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; both verbal and written
- Strong organization and prioritization skills; committed to deadlines
- Advanced computer proficiency, including excellent knowledge of MS Excel. ERP experience is an asset.
- Strong understanding of Privacy and Confidentiality in the workplace
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain successful working relationships
