Position: Application Specialist 

• Location: Mississauga
• Schedule: 8:30-5:00pm – 37.5 hours

Responsibilities: 

• Work directly with customers to understand needs and deliver tailored system designs.
• Design and specify hydraulic power units and pneumatic systems, including detailed schematics, component selection, and documentation.
• Develop technical proposals, quotes, and cost estimates.
• Conduct system calculations and planning to ensure performance and reliability.
• Support production and installation teams when needed.
• Champion quality and innovation across all stages of design and execution.
• Partner with Sales Managers to develop winning proposals and secure projects.
• Work closely with manufacturing, procurement, and service teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Lead problem-solving efforts and proactively manage project timelines.
• Enforce engineering best practices to meet customer expectations and project standards.

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• 2 years minimum experience in hydraulic and pneumatic domain.
• Have a related BSE or BEng degree in engineering or hold a technical qualification in a related field.
• Travel to the client's site when necessary.
• Able to communication, write and read in English.
• Experience with AutoCAD
• Experience with a 3D design software (SolidWorks)
• Experience with project management (asset)
