Job Summary
As a GL Accountant, you will be owning the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger, the foundation of all our financial reporting. In this role, you will dive into journal entries, prepare clear and insightful financial statements, and ensure everything aligns with accounting standards. You will be a key player in our month-end and year-end closes, while also contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis that drives smarter decision-making across the business.

You will be a key player in our month-end and year-end closes, while also contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis that drives smarter decision-making across the business.
Core Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close procedures
- Reconcile bank statements and other balance sheet accounts
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and internal reports
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and company policies
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather information and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting as needed
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Proficiency in accounting software: Familiarity with systems (Netsuite) often required
- Knowledge of GAAP and other accounting standards
- CPA certification is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
